High School Beta Club

Sunbright High School is a member of the National Beta Club. Beta Club is the primary honor society and service club at our school. The Beta Club is an international honor society for students. Its purpose is to promote academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among secondary school students.

Students are invited their sophomore year based upon their academic achievements and character. Beta members are required to maintain a 90 average in their classes with no failing grades.  Members are also required to complete at least 25 hours of community service each year, 20 of which must be served through the school.

Traditionally, our Beta Club attends an educational field trip during the Fall semester and a reward field trip during the Spring semester for completing service hours. Upon graduation, members are honored by receiving a gold Beta drape stole with the Beta emblem to be worn over their graduation gown.

We look forward to new students joining each year!
