Student Senate

The Student Senate is a club at Sunbright High School that works with the faculty and administration to organize and coordinate school events, especially the annual Homecoming festivities.  The members plan dress up days, organize events and  prizes. They also record points from dress up day winners and chain link sales for the grade band competitions. In addition, the Student Senate conducts mock elections schoolwide each election year to promote voting and civic engagement. Members often work alongside the Beta Club to complete service projects in the school.

 

Members are selected by recommendation of previous and current faculty. The Senate is sponsored by Mr. Dennis, high school history teacher.
